Suzuki V-Strom 650 and 1050 Seat Cover Guide

The Suzuki V-Strom series occupies a sweet spot in the adventure touring market — capable enough for multi-day touring, approachable enough for newer riders, and reliable enough to trust on unfamiliar roads far from home. The seat, however, is a limitation that most V-Strom owners encounter sooner or later. Both the 650 and 1050 are regularly used for long days, and the OEM seat's firm foam and limited contouring becomes a problem on journeys over three hours.

V-Strom 650 vs 1050: Seat Shape Differences

The V-Strom 650 (DL650) and V-Strom 1050 (DL1050) use different seat pans with distinct profiles.   • Low-speed control: V-Strom riders frequently manoeuvre at low speeds with luggage. A seat cover that provides grip when the rider slides forward to reach the ground is a practical safety feature, not just a comfort one.
