Who Is GPR?

GPR is an Italian exhaust manufacturer founded in 1996, now one of Europe's most prolific aftermarket exhaust brands by the sheer breadth of their fitment range. Unlike specialist premium brands that focus on a handful of models, GPR produce systems for hundreds of bikes — from 125cc commuters to litre-class superbikes — and cover models that other manufacturers ignore. Their product range spans from affordable road exhausts to track-oriented systems with genuine performance credentials.

The GPR Product Lines Explained

Furore — Road Performance

The Furore series is GPR's entry into road performance exhausts, available in stainless steel, carbon, and titanium-look finishes. These are full bolt-on slip-ons designed for road use and occasional track days — they pass Euro 5 homologation standards (or come with a removable DB killer for road legality in markets that require it). The Furore is the right choice for a rider who wants a noticeable sound upgrade and modest weight saving without the harshness of a full race system. Sound level is louder than stock but not anti-social.

Deeptone — The Classic Sound

The Deeptone is one of GPR's most popular lines, particularly for V-twin and parallel-twin engines. As the name suggests, it produces a deeper, more resonant exhaust note than the standard system — less high-frequency crackle, more low-mid rumble. Available as slip-ons for most popular models. The Deeptone is a favourite among riders who want character without the noise of a race-derived system.

Albus — The White Ceramic Line

The Albus is GPR's white ceramic-coated exhaust line — distinctive and immediately recognisable. Functionally identical to the Furore in performance terms, the Albus is primarily a styling choice. The white ceramic coating is heat-resistant and stays clean-looking far longer than bare stainless or carbon on a road bike. It's particularly popular on naked bikes and scrambler-style machines where the exhaust is a visual focal point.

GPR Race — Track and Competition

GPR's Race line is not road legal and is designed for closed circuit or competition use. Lighter construction, no sound baffling, and optimised for peak power rather than road manners. If you're building a dedicated track bike on a budget, GPR Race systems offer strong performance at a lower price point than Akrapovic or Termignoni alternatives.

GPR Carbon — Lightweight Road

The carbon fibre sleeve versions of GPR's road lines (Furore Carbon, Deeptone Carbon) offer genuine weight savings over the standard stainless versions — typically 0.5–1.5 kg less depending on model. The carbon sleeve is UV-coated and weather-resistant. These are a popular choice for sport bike riders who want the weight saving without paying Öhlins suspension money.

Fitting GPR Exhausts

GPR exhausts are designed as direct-fit replacements — no modification required beyond removing the standard muffler and fitting the supplied bracket hardware. Most installations take under an hour. GPR supply a mounting bracket for each model-specific kit; ensure the bracket included matches your bike before fitting. A remap is not required for slip-on fitment but is recommended for full system installations.
