821 vs 939: Seat Differences
Ducati updated the Hyperstrada significantly between the 821 (2013–2015) and 939 (2016–2018) generations. While the overall silhouette is similar, the seat pan dimensions differ — a cover designed for the 821 will not fit the 939, and vice versa. The Hyperstrada's seat is wider at the rear and shaped differently to accommodate its more touring-oriented ergonomics.
