Designed to increase braking torque and balance of the front end, to resist to thermomechanical stress and dissipate the heat generated in braking. Moreover, a high heat dissipation ensures constant braking power in all conditions.
Discacciati floating discs are made of: Outer disc band is made of Steel AISI420 laser cut and thermally treated. Holes on the surface helps to dissipate heat and keep the paddle fresh.
Inner hub is made of Ergal 7075, CNC machined and anodized. Outer disc band and inner hub are linked by 10 aluminum button with OX hard anodizing treatment.
Rotor’s buttons are not fasten to other parts, this allow the flotation of the disc also under thermal expansion, reducing discs stress and its consumption.
All manufacturing phases are inspected and parts tested with static and dynamic tests on track and test benches.
